Last Week Nearly

Well i decided id work for a week b4 i go travelling to NY and places, so im working maintenance which today has been scraping up floor wax how fun and exciting. its alright really just the fumes get me high, mite have to take some home sell it to old people to get some money. Oh i went to a Minor League Game of Baseball last nite, it was exciting for about 20 minutes, but it was overkill too much shit happening, plus i had to look after some kids. Only one ball came over to our side really, most of the baseball players are too fat to run to First Base so they jogged instead, annoyed the hell out of most people. Thats it for now. Dave

LAST DAY!!!

Well this is the last day of kids, at last, its been a long time coming but they are finally deciding to leave. This session has been better than the previous three but they are still arses, one kids obviousbly is a mummys boy, nothing wrong with that mummy, .....just he cannot lose, he thinks pointing to food means it comes to him. Oh did he have a shock dealing with my cabin. I had my evaluation this week i got 2 excellent and the rest good, which is one of the best ones on camps, but it was bollox since the evaluation was flawed. since it was done by a person that knew fuck all about the camp and the counsellors, so people that did do their work didnt get wat they deserved. I am going to be doing senior week next week, so old people arrive and we look after them but me and another lad are doing maintenence which is nice! wat else...umm yeah im coming back after that maybe around like 4th of september or sumat maybe later, travelling with friends and stuff. so i am requesting rather large amounts of free alochol. dave

Madison Square

Ohh yup went to watch a basketball game at madison square, most famous basketball arena apart from Sheffield Arena of course, saw Womens NBA cos of cheaper tickets, its small tho, New York lost tho, gutted, good game. oh found an amazing irish bar, loved it, $2 for out of date walkers but worth it, drunk most of the bar, loved it. saturday went to a house party of one of the counsellors they had a pool in the garden, im getting one ive decided but it'll start as a puddle. sunday made dinner for my friends they loved it, basil, tomatoes, mozzarella, goats cheese and dessert ;) . played a big game of bball yesterday hurt afterwards, hurt my left hand a little nothing i cant shake off, but the crazy nurse bandaged my whole hand up, so i took it and got sum tape and made a splint myself. new kids arrived they seem to be the most normal so far, but about 10 minutes in i got 4 kids from another cabin all with ADHD just to piss me off. oh well my time up speak soon. dave

Wow

Its been a while since Ive posted, well went to Washington the greyhound was a fuck up, the bus driver just let random people with tickets on our bus in our places so like 6 people myself including were stranded outside of the bus, so we got someone in charge to get the people off the bus who werent supposed to be on, and some wouldnt leave even though there bus was like 3 hours latter so they called for the "Traffic Police" who were actually like SWAT it was wierd, so after about 10 minutes we got on. it's not as bad as everyone made out except the driver didnt know where he was going and asked one of my mates from england how to get there, once we arrived we were in the roughest part of D.C. crazy ass people asking for money and one having an argument with himself and losing.

Once we worked out where we where, there was the matter of getting to the motel we had booked which checking the map we figured was about 4 miles away not 1 mile like the guy said, so we started walking and found a motel 8 which looked nice and had a pool with no lifeguard so we just stopped there, sent out some people for booze, got wasted and ate pizza nice. next day did the old tour of D.C. which was good, the whitehouse is tiny, a guy called marty had some "connections" to get us a tour inside but there was about 5 million scouts so we couldnt get in. so we walked to the lincoln memorial with that massive obelix with a mirror river you see on all the films, then went to the memorial site for all the soliders which was weird. then we were going to go out but we walked around all day, so most were knackered so we finished off all our booze and i drunk half a massive bottle of vodka and like butterscotch stuff and wine, quite surprised i didnt spew. then we came back next day quite boring trip home.

Next day new kids, most were alright but one cabin had no kids in so they did sorting so we got this really annoying kid who thought he was the best ever, then he moved thank god, most are alright better than last session, then I had another day off so me and a friend decided to go to Atlantic City cos the cook goes there alot to bet, think of it as another Vegas owned by Donald Trump, so i booked a hotel got it all sorted, told my friend then the cook told me i was staying in a Trump hotel for free, and maybe a $50 upgrade for like a really nice suite but that never happened. so that was cool, the next day was really hot and i figured out it was just full of old people spending their pensions at the casinos.

A couple of days in!!

well just finally got a bit of time to go on the pc, they have been here a while, i seem to get the fattest kids who are the most annoying ones who all want to go home, but when I had the younger ones they werent as bad, so they cry and then are fine two mins later, oh well ill live. Other day 2 kids went to the office for fighting, without telling me so I got the Deputy Head Director, come in and watch me with the kids and the other counsellors, and then did a 45 minutes about campers and counsellors need to "step up to plate". So that put a downer on things, oh well, ummm did an UK presentation we had 30 mins where other countries had 1 hour, so i did 50 minutes just cos i wanted to piss them off, "well what can you say about the UK its not that big" hence 50 minutes, haha so they enjoyed themselves. went to see dark water, toss. going to see Charlie & ....... tommorow and umm Wedding Crashers Monday. just being playing Capture the Flag, total chaos as usual, the rules never work as long as they tire themselves out. Im off to washington dc next weekend, should be fun, hope the 16 alma road crew are mint. dave

NY and New

Well this weekend has been eventful, umm Thursday nite went to "Uno's" a Pizza hut with a bar and Karoke nite, so me and Tom sang champagne super nova which all the place loved, even tho most was Kiddie Keep Well, then Friday spent most of the day in teh cinema, war of the worlds, fantastic four, then Mr and Mrs Smith, but didnt get to end of film cos we got evicted for reasons uknown by the police!!! probably an emtpy bag. saturday went to NY, central park went to the zoo but didnt go inside, went down 5th Av a big church, then got raped ny TGI fridays for a Steak $40 with Tax and Grat 18 gutted. then sunday umm chilled out, then today kids arrived, probably had the quickest leaver 10 minutes, wouldnt listen, always cursing, throw rocks, i loved it, 1 down 12 to go, then we were in the pool and one of my kids for a swim test, hit the side, so his front teeth are now _/ \_ sexy. right they have finally gone home well almost, 2 are of my kids are on gateway so they are going to be here all summer, one is ok they other one needs constant attention. Well as the kids left they were all angels to their "moms" one of the wan%^er of a child's mom asked if he could come to 2nd session, so I said "ummmm no he is......" she went, yeah i know i just rather you deal with it than me. cheeky mare, im off to the flicks today to see fantastic four and maybe others with mates since weve got time off and hurricane cindy is on its way, im off to NY tommorow, but i think im not going on the Subway just incase, ill buy everyone presents woop! hope u all like caps saying "I wish i went to NY" yeah so thats it, dave
